Tell us about your job
Answer a few simple questions about the work and where you are. It takes about two minutes.
We send it to our local crew
Up to three vetted, licensed trades from our crew who cover your area and this kind of work.
Compare quotes and choose
They contact you directly to discuss the job and quote. Pick the one that’s right — or none at all.
1. Tell us about your job
Choose the type of work, add your postcode and describe what you need in your own words. Photos and plans aren’t needed at this stage — the trades will ask for what they need.
2. We send it to our local crew
We review your request and send it to up to 3 members of our crew who do that kind of work in your area. Our crew aren’t a directory: each one has their NSW licence verified and insurance sighted before joining, and agrees to our service standards — contact you within one business day, quote in writing with their licence number shown, and use a proper contract.
3. Compare quotes and choose
Your matched trades contact you directly — usually by phone — to talk through the job and arrange to see it if needed. Compare their written quotes, ask questions, and choose the one you’re comfortable with. Or none at all.
Who does the work?
The trade you choose quotes, contracts with you and carries out the work. MyTradeCrew doesn’t do building work itself and isn’t a party to your contract. That keeps things simple: one clear agreement between you and your trade.
Before signing, check the licence on the quote, ask about insurance and warranties, and get a written contract for residential work over $5,000 (including GST). Our guides explain what to look for.
What does it cost?
Nothing for homeowners. Crew members pay us a small fee for each job we send them and a success fee when they win it. That never changes your price — crew members quote the job the same way they would for any customer.
